As a Deliveroo rider you are covered by our insurance whenever and wherever you’re out on the road with us in Qatar. This includes the whole time you’re online.
How long will your cover last?
Covers all riders when working.
Your cover will end automatically if you cease to work as a Deliveroo rider. As a beneficiary, you do not have the right to cancel the insurance contract between Deliveroo and its Insurer which is subject to the contract terms between them.

What's covered?
- Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement QAR 175,000
- Permanent Partial Disablement QAR 175,000
- Disfigurement or scarring of the face or body (1-2 square meters) QAR 3,000
- Temporary Total Disablement 75% of wages up to QAR 200 /day max 30 days
- Accident Medical Expenses up to QAR 30,000
- Funeral Expenses up to QAR 10,000
- Repatriation up to QAR 20,000
- Loss or Damage to Personal Belongings QAR 1,000
- Coma Benefit up to QAR 1,500 /week
- Dependent Child Education up to QAR 25,000
- Hospitalization Benefit QAR 200 /day, up to 60 days
What's not covered?
If you are offline while at the time of the accident, Deliveroo insurance will not cover any potential losses.
What is the eligibility for this insurance?
To be covered under this policy, You must:
- be resident in Qatar; and
- hold an active rider account with Deliveroo to undertake delivery services;
- be under the age of 70 at the date of the accident (note: the Policy’s maximum age limit is 70, meaning that cover will end when you reach 70);
